Fascination Day with Plants
Bringing people closer to the interesting world of plants and the work of scientists who research it is the aim of the Day of Fascination with Plants, which has been held since 2012 and is organized by the European Plant Biology Organization (EPSO).
The aim of the Day of Fascination with Plants is to introduce the public to current research and show why plants are important and interesting. It also aims to educate as many people as possible worldwide about the secrets of botany, horticulture, agriculture, and forestry. In collaboration with the Faculty of Science at UJEP, the Botanical Garden in Teplice has prepared a day for schools where children can learn about the plant kingdom in a playful and enjoyable way. There will be interesting facts and a look into the micro world through the lenses of scientific microscopes. Participation in the event requires a reservation, which can be made on weekdays from 8:00 to 14:00 by calling 417 534 359. We also invite you to the Day of Fascination with Plants on May 30, 2023, which will take place at the Research Institute of Forage Crops in Troubsko. More information can be found here.
