World Planting Day
Did you know that planting day is celebrated all over the world? We don't mean Earth Day or Arbor Day, but an entirely separate holiday known as World Planting Day. He is dedicated to planting in any form possible, from planting in the garden to helping organizations or even just spreading awareness about the importance of plants.
The World Planting Day is celebrated on March 21st, encouraging people to plant trees and engage in gardening activities. It originated as part of the "Let's Plant the Planet" campaign in 2007, with the goal of planting one million trees in Germany. Since then, it has spread worldwide, with over 15 billion trees planted to date. The day is not only about planting trees but also about promoting sustainable gardening practices. People can create their own vegetable gardens, join community gardens, or participate in tree planting initiatives. The Progresus Invest Holding group, which specializes in real estate development, is the patron of the World Planting Day. They support sustainable forestry practices by annually planting 80,000 new seedlings in collaboration with the Czech Forestry Academy.
